1975. Washington, DC. The Vietnam War is over.

To protect her mother, Flora has been faking it since was a teenager.

Accused of smuggling weapons, Mercer must spy on anti-war protesters.

His handler Max, posing as a CIA agent, is desperate to find the one priceless object that can save his life.
